Another stop their mowing…another cease their cleaning
They'll look up from their TV's and monitors
Turn off the ballgame…put down the paper
One by one they'll stop, listen and look
At the wide-eyed child as he hopefully cries:
"Lemonade for sale
Lemonade and cookies…25 cents"
Are you weary from the heat of the day?

That will chase all your weariness away.
Do you have a thirst heavy from labor?
Do stop by and taste
A sweetness reserved only for the angels.
No. not the lemonade,
Though there is nothing quite as sweet
As lemonade stand lemonade!
