Use your creativity to make plans on how to use all these paper things for your scrapbooking.

Practical Embellishments

Old buttons, clothes tags, colorful ribbons, pins, stickers, old felt flowers, pretty fabric, small toys, old embroidery, hankies, vintage clothing, custom jewelry and semi-precious stones around your home are pretty and practical items for you to use. Check your home office supplies and make use of colorful paper clips, folders, envelopes or colorful fasteners for your scrapbooking. Use colorful markers and stampings as additional embellishments.

Scrapbooking supplies don't really have to be expensive. You can start with a small budget for the basic things you need to begin scrapbooking. Start with the practical things you have available for your use - things around the home and some other places that offer possibilities of getting what you need.
