Fulltone CT-1 Catalyst Guitar Effects Pedal $162.15 The Fulltone CT-1 Catalyst Guitar Pedal is equipped with a simple circuit that uses only discrete FET's to achieve its throaty roar. But the Catalyst stompbox brings something more to the table because it to does things that many other fuzz pedals can't. With its mini-toggle switch set to "Spark," the Catalyst effect pedal offers clean boosts, sweeter overdrives and all sorts of distortion sounds. Want more? Flip the switch to "Flame" and you'll be treated to a host of less civil overdrives, unique distortion voicings, and a plethora of vicious Fuzz sounds, all of which clean up with a twist of your guitar's volume knob, with a linear transition from clean to mean. To further enhance your tonal control, the Catalyst guitar pedal offers a pair of very effective low-loss tone controls that set it apart from the masses. Standard tone stacks often end up cutting so much gain that the effect designer has to make up for this loss later in the circuit, and many times you loose some of the magic in the process. Not so here because the Fulltone CT-1 Catalyst pedal's low-loss Bass/Mids knob dials out the flubby low-end, with the added bonus of supplying varying amounts of rich midrange when the Bass/Mids knob passes the 3 o'clock mark. This midrange, on top of an already wildly distorted tone, has the effect of increasing sustain to insane proportions as well as breaking you out of the standard super bright/super bassy Fuzz mold. Need to smooth out the highs? Simply turn down the Treble mini-knoba low-loss hi-end roll-offallowing you to shave off as much of the treble as necessary. Finally, many Fuzz pedals can have wacky input and output impedances, making it difficult to match-up successfully with wah-wah pedals and non-true-bypass buffered pedals. The Fulltone CT-1 Catalyst has none of these issues, sporting a friendly 1-meg input impedance and an astonishingly low 10K output impedance. When's the last time you had a fuzz work with a vibe or wah-wah? Things have changed, indeed.True Bypass switchingVolume KnobGain KnobSpark/Flame toggle switchBass/Mids KnobTreble Knob |

Fulltone OCD Obsessive Compulsive Drive Overdrive Guitar Effects Pedal $135.15 The Fulltone OCDObsessive Compulsive Driveoverdrive pedal packs classic OD tones into a compact pedal with simple, no-fuss operation. From heavy crunch rich with overtones and feedback to spanky cleans, the OCD delivers the sounds of a great tube amp, as sell as the same sensitivity and response to your playing style.Along with standard Volume, Drive, and Tone controls, the OCD's HP/LP (High Peak/Low Peak) switch takes the pedal from a clean boost to manic, sustain-laden distortion. True bypass switching. The Fulltone StoryFulltone was founded in 1991 by Michael Fuller, a session guitarist, composer, performer, electronic tinkerer featured in Guitar Player magazine, and first place winner in their "Ultimate Guitarist Competition" Blues category. Fulltone pedals were born out of a love for music, tone, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, etc. Early on Fuller developed a love for fine vintage pedals, and his frustration at the inconsistencies and the often fragile nature of old gear drove him to start Fulltone. Rich, Fat-sounding TONE TOOLS with a reliable build quality is the goal. Fulltone effects carry a 5 year warranty and are built for (and by) musicians.Fulltone use True Bypass switching (with L.E.D. status indicators) in all our pedals, whenever possible. Most other pedals have a buffered output that destroys the performance of most pedals that follow in the signal-chain. Fuller says don't be fooled by the claims of "Pure Bypass," "Hard Bypass"...etc. These are just catch phrases to divert your attention away from the fact that those pedals are not true-bypass. I designed and manufacture the Fulltone 3PDT , the world's only Super-Duty Triple-Pole Double-Throw footswitchFullertone manufactures their own custom potentiometers because what has been offered as "Industry Standard" has a 20% failure rate within 2 years is not acceptable to them. All Fulltone pedals are handbuilt & tested at their shop in Southern California using full-sized top-notch components. In the Choralflange, a rather complex pedal as analog designs go, there are NO miniature surface mount chips, capacitors, or resistors. They have their wire custom-made, and it's 22 gauge copper stranded with no tin-coating, so it stays flexible over the years without breaking. You might not know or care about components, but you'll certainly hear the FAT, clean, warm results.Tube-like overdrive and touch-sensitive responseHP/LP switch for instant re-voicing and usesVolume, Tone, Drive controlsTrue bypass switching |
