String Light

Patio string lights are a good addition to your garden or backyard as it adds elegance and a warm glow for daily use or for special occasions.  This classic kind of lighting comes in many varieties of styles and colors.  You can start with bare bulbs or small lights with plastic covers that are themed so that you can customize the lights when you hang them in the garden.  String lights serve two purposes to any events you may hold in your garden or backyard, offering decorative elements and subtle lighting to the area.

Patio lights also work well in making a self-made centerpiece for a garden table.  You can use a big glass container, such as a transparent vase.  Put your plain light strings inside the vase to create a big bunch of lights.  Choose lights of the same color that will match the motif of your event, or you can use multicolored bulbs to create a dazzling effect.  Your string light centerpiece will add an ambient glow to the table and will set an elegant effect plus lighting for the guests.

Patio string lights can also be used to accent hedges and other landscape features for a magical impact.  You can also line your sidewalks or patio stairs to give the guest a guide on the way to the garden.  You can also create a twinkling accent to bushes, retaining walls, flower boxes and flower beds by placing the patio string lights on the edges or on the outlines.  You can keep them all throughout the year, or simply use them for special occasions.

Patio lights are certainly a very good method to add color, charm and ambiance to your parties or family gatherings.  They are also very easy to install and only requires a few minutes to hang them or to decorate your garden with.  Most patio lights are designed to be independent and will function even if the one or more bulbs fuse out.  These advantages make patio string lights a must have for any backyard or garden event.
