Fender Stratocaster - A brief history of the Stratocaster guitar Amazing

The Stratocaster guitar was designed by Leo Fender, George Fullerton and Freddie Tavares in 1954 to meet the needs of guitarists working at the time. Fender was to design the greatest electric guitar ever made and has incorporated several new models in the Stratocaster guitar.

The most important design features was a new Fender shaped body style called the "Comfort Contour Body". The back of the guitar was contoured to fit comfortably and firmly against the reader instead of the hard disk, square edge on the body Fender Telecaster.

The front of the guitar has been streamlined to allow your arm to rest comfortably on the guitar while playing. The organization also presented double cutaways near the neck for easy access at the highest frets, and reduce the weight of the guitar.

Early models came with a micro switch to three lanes to select either the neck, middle or bridge pickups.
