EZ Pass Holder – Suction Cups or Velcro?

Have you ever grumbled at how the appearance of your EZ Pass holder has made your car looked cluttered? Do you prefer holding your EZ Pass for entry and keeping it away in the glove compartment after that because you did not want it to look like a foreign object stuck on your windshield? Well, you are not alone. However, some brilliant minds have come up with stylish EZ Pass holders that would not put your car to shame.

 

Looking great on your windscreen, these EZ Pass holders are designed to look good. They usually come in a casing that encloses the EZ Pass so that you will not catch the sight of a white object on your screen from far. Then, there is the part of keeping it stuck to the windshield. Some comes in the form of suction cups, while others come in the form of adhesive Velcro. People tend to go for the suction cups as it does not stick permanently, which makes it adjustable, and would not worry them about having sticky residue leftovers on their screen if they were to detach it.

 

Yet, if you rationalized a little, those attached using Velcro would definitely last longer as compared to the suction cups. Suction cups, when exposed to different temperatures will lose its adhesiveness to the screen. Especially if you live in a place with different seasons, you are bound to have your holder falling off with the change of season. What is worse is that some suction cups come in poor quality suction, which falls off easily by the end of the first day of using it.

 

Hence, using the adhesive Velcro instead can actually be a good thing. Velcro usually clings on well to each other unless manually detached. Furthermore, some brands come in stylish EZ Pass holder designs. Over the long run, you would have saved more money buying the Velcro adhesive than the suction cup, if you looked at how long they would stick on your screen. But ultimately, it really depends on how you would like to use your holder.
