These three major concepts are:
1. Beat
The beat plays a very important part when playing any musical instrument since it is responsible in giving the timing and depth of a song the guitarist is playing. The beat gives the song a pleasant feel.
2. Grip
A good bass guitarist should have a good grip which needs the coordination of both the hands and the fingers. In a bass guitar grip plays a very important role since it needs a stronger grip as compared to a standard guitar. Grip in every sense is of utmost importance since it counts in the music one plays.
3. Guitar Chords
These play the most important and vital part when learning the basics of a guitar be it a standard guitar or a bass guitar. Bass guitars are similar to standard guitars the only difference being that the stand guitars have six strings while the bass has four chords. All in all it is important to know that bass playing is chord-oriented. For an amateur guitarist it is extremely important that they learn and familiarize themselves with the tunings and notes and this will help them play better.
