This is how you can fix your xbox freezing problem:
1. You will need a screw driver here. First thing is to disassemble your console case. Strip your Xbox console case apart. 7. You will make use of washers by applying on the screws for the heat sink,remember the big silver box with slits in it? Yes that is it. Put back the screws pushing up in the motherboard and then you apply more washer.
8. Remember the screws from the motherboard are pushing up, so all you have to do is to align the heat sink with the screws on the motherboard and screw them tightly together.
9. Final step is too couple everything back and put it on. After all this process you can be sure that your Xbox 360 console should be working just fine without freezing.
