Resolving 'Sync failed: unknown error (-124)' error and recovering iPod data

2. Go to your Desktop and double-click the file, a black window will appear, wait till it vanishes

3. Delete the appleipod.bat file

4. Open iTunes and connect the iPod

5. Restore the iPod

• In case of corruption, you have to format the iPod
