Our Family's adventure on finding a Bedding Set

Well here we go, our family definitely had an adventure while searching for a bedding set for all of our children and for our master bedroom. This search started with an easy, or thought to be easy, search online. It ended with just hitting up stores around our town. Searching online was fun but it just didn't work for us. We wanted to actually feel the fabrics, so the online experience wasn't as informative and fulfilling as it was just doing it the old fashioned way…going to a store.

All of our children have various different tastes, they are so particular with what they like and don't like that it was almost frustrating.  There are so many different fabrics and styles that it wasn't as easy as we had thought it would be. Stores and specialty shops was definitely the best route.

Our fifteen year old son is a little rocker kid, so he wanted the dark look, along with the music look, to go along with his rock and roll posters and rock memorabilia that cover all of his bedroom walls. We found the bedding sets that matched his particular style perfectly but we had to buy it piece by piece. We actually found part of his bedding set that had guitars on the duvet and bed spread and sheets and found separately, pillow cases with music notes on them. Being a musician myself, I thought they were very cool looking! I tried to talk the wife into a similar scheme for our bedroom but she was just not going for it. J This bedding set was bought piece by piece as I said, because they didn't have both of those looks in one package. It wasn't the normal way by just getting an 11 piece duvet set, as of course, he preferred to be "different". Oh well, he was happy with the end result, so we were happy too. These kids now days! With all dark colors and the music scheme following, he was even happier to make his bed every morning too.

Our eleven year old daughter we have nicked named ‘frilly', as she can be such a princess and prefers a room that reflects that.  Naturally it had to be mostly pink, so pink is what we looked for.  We found a beautiful pink alternative bedding set in a bag that she loved.  This set went along with her frilly pink and white curtains, the fluffy white throw rug on the floor, and all the white stuffed animals strewn about the room. The eight piece bedding set is down and so soft and nice to the touch. The sheets are so luxuriously soft. She will be so warm and comfortable this winter time when crawling into her beautiful pink frilly bed. We've heard so many ooh's and ahh's so far, it's been awesome.

Our master bedroom turned out to be very simple to find. My wife chose a sage green bedding set, trying not to get too feminine, as she has to share this with me.  We are very pleased with the 300 count sheets and the down comforter that came in complete bedding in a bag bargain.
