What kukui nut oil and where did it come from? Kukui nut oil is pressed cold seeds of Aleurites moluccana or kukui tree, the tree's official State of Hawaii. The tree kukui came to Hawaii by early Polynesian settlers. This natural oil has been used to anoint the baby against the weather elements, skin irritations, wounds or burns.
