Gibson Les Paul Guitar is the broadly recognized electric guitars; this was first presented in 1952. This guitar was the joint venture of Gibson and Les Paul. Les Paul is the renowned jazz guitarist and pop artist. In their debut in 1952 they make the everlasting charisma in the music industry. Their music is for all ages and captures all kinds of music.
It was the First solid body electric guitar in the market. This was the finest guitar which was ever made. Creating music is a gift, which is not for everybody.
Features of the Guitar

2. Carved top, Tail piece, p-90 pickups with plastic guards and was very heavy.

Tune-o-Mastic bridge- balances the tune.
In the late 60s when rock music became very famous,This Guitar became very popular for its melody. It became the part of the American music art.

Types of Gibson Guitar-
Gold top (1952-1958)
Gold top the first invention of the Gibson was the single coil, tailpiece, good tonal features and made up of maple which is a weighty wood. In their early invention they never issued serial numbers.
Custom (1954-1960)
The second invention of les Paul guitar was Gibson Les Paul Custom. It was completely black in color and was famous in the name of Black Beauty. Custom had the mahogany upper to distinguish it from the Gold top. Its main feature was -Tune-o-Mastic design and alnico-5 magnet.
Junior (1954-1960) and TV (1955-1960)
Junior was found to be very well matched for professionals. This invention was very different from Gibson Previous models; it had mahogany body, tail piece, and p-90 pickup, balance tone and was low cost guitar in the market.
In 1955 Gibson's TV model came in the market, which was actually the extended form of Junior. They were yellow guitars.
Junior and TV on the demand of the buyers were later designed into double cutaway.
Special (1955-1960)
Special guitar was launched in 1955. Main features- P-90 single coil pick ups, lound tones double cutaway body shape very much similar to the TV model.
Standard (1958-1960, 1968-2008)
In 1958 Gibson changed the regular color of the Les Paul model to the gold color. Their features were very much similar to the Gold top-hum bucker pickups, tail piece, and tune-o-matic bridge.
Gibson on august 1, 2008 launched the new version of Standard, featuring-lengthy neckline tenon, locking Grover tuners.
1961 Les Paul SG
In 1961, there was reduction in the sale of electric guitars because of their high prices and strong competitors. To overcome the reduction Gibson introduced thinner and lighter guitars as compare to earlier models. But this modification was made without the consent of Les Paul. As a result he spilt from the company.
Deluxe-
In 1968 Deluxe was introduced-This was very unique model featuring- mini hum buckers, p-90 pickup but was not very popular. In 1969 the latest feature of the Deluxe came in scene with the Gibson logo. In 1975 the deluxe neck structure was altered from Mahogany to Maple, But unfortunately due to lack of interest of the buyers in this model, Gibson abolish Deluxe.
In 2005, Deluxe was re-established with many improved features and gained popularity.
Studio-
Studio came into scene in 1983. It was actually meant for Studio Musician; therefore this model was termed as Studio. It was built with the best sound quality and playability.
Gibson Robot Guitar-
In 2007, Gibson introduced the Robot Guitar which was completely computerized. All its functions were operated with the Control Knobs, and were highly popularized.
Gibson Dark Fire
In 2008 the advanced model of Robot Guitar was introduced, Dark Fire. It main feature was- loud sound, Computerized, automatically adjustable tunings, and innovative tuning features.
Gibson Dusk Tiger
The dusk tiger was the additional guitar to the robot series. It was light weighted and had the back up of tone editor.
Custom Shop models
Thousands of copies of Les Paul Guitar in cheap value were vended in U.S and abroad, which caused great monetary difficulties to the Gibson Company.
