Fulltone '69 MkII Fuzz Guitar Effects Pedal $169.15 Ready to deliver fat and harmonic fuzz whenever you need it, the Fulltone '69 MkII also cleans up like a vintage Fenderî amp when you turn down your guitar's volume control. The Rolling Stones and the Black Crowes have discovered this trick. If you love the first two Hendrix releases, then you'll love the '69 MkII fuzz with its two germanium transistors, hand-picked and tested for optimum performance. A Contour knob lets you dial in midrange, harmonics, and sustain, while the Input knob takes the "woofiness" out and gives great overdrive/distortion sounds when backed off. An internal "bias" trimmer allows for adjustment of clipping symmetry, harmonics, and tracking.Specifications subject to change at any given moment due to availability and due to whimsy.True bypass w/LED is standard equipment to preserve tone when the pedal is off!Vintage-style fuzz that's fat and harmonicCleans up like a vintage Fender ampTwo hand-picked germanium transistorsCountour and Input trim knobsInternal "bias" trimmer adjusts clipping symmetry, harmonics, and trackingVolume and Fuzz controls |

Fulltone OCD Obsessive Compulsive Drive Overdrive Guitar Effects Pedal $135.15 The Fulltone OCDObsessive Compulsive Driveoverdrive pedal packs classic OD tones into a compact pedal with simple, no-fuss operation. From heavy crunch rich with overtones and feedback to spanky cleans, the OCD delivers the sounds of a great tube amp, as sell as the same sensitivity and response to your playing style.Along with standard Volume, Drive, and Tone controls, the OCD's HP/LP (High Peak/Low Peak) switch takes the pedal from a clean boost to manic, sustain-laden distortion. True bypass switching. The Fulltone StoryFulltone was founded in 1991 by Michael Fuller, a session guitarist, composer, performer, electronic tinkerer featured in Guitar Player magazine, and first place winner in their "Ultimate Guitarist Competition" Blues category. Fulltone pedals were born out of a love for music, tone, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, etc. Early on Fuller developed a love for fine vintage pedals, and his frustration at the inconsistencies and the often fragile nature of old gear drove him to start Fulltone. Rich, Fat-sounding TONE TOOLS with a reliable build quality is the goal. Fulltone effects carry a 5 year warranty and are built for (and by) musicians.Fulltone use True Bypass switching (with L.E.D. status indicators) in all our pedals, whenever possible. Most other pedals have a buffered output that destroys the performance of most pedals that follow in the signal-chain. Fuller says don't be fooled by the claims of "Pure Bypass," "Hard Bypass"...etc. These are just catch phrases to divert your attention away from the fact that those pedals are not true-bypass. I designed and manufacture the Fulltone 3PDT , the world's only Super-Duty Triple-Pole Double-Throw footswitchFullertone manufactures their own custom potentiometers because what has been offered as "Industry Standard" has a 20% failure rate within 2 years is not acceptable to them. All Fulltone pedals are handbuilt & tested at their shop in Southern California using full-sized top-notch components. In the Choralflange, a rather complex pedal as analog designs go, there are NO miniature surface mount chips, capacitors, or resistors. They have their wire custom-made, and it's 22 gauge copper stranded with no tin-coating, so it stays flexible over the years without breaking. You might not know or care about components, but you'll certainly hear the FAT, clean, warm results.Tube-like overdrive and touch-sensitive responseHP/LP switch for instant re-voicing and usesVolume, Tone, Drive controlsTrue bypass switching |

Fulltone SB-2 Soul-Bender Distortion Guitar Effects Pedal $169.15 The Fulltone Soul-Bender is based on the legendary Colorsound and Vox Series III ToneBenders made by Sola-Sound/England in the late '60's that was used by Beck and Page on much of their circa 1968-70 recordings.Equipped with 3 gain-matched germanium transistor for a FAT, searing lead tone, Michael Fuller also made the Tone control response and range more usable and much less shrill sounding... Full clockwise is SMOOTH sounding. The Soul-Bender cleans up when you back-off on the guitar's volume control. This pedal has tons of tonal character and even harmonics and of course, true bypass w/ LED is included with every one.Michael Fuller on the Soul Bender:In the early 1970's, Sola-Sound England produced a very fat, warm, and juicy sounding Distortion/Fuzz called the Tone-Bender Mklli. These were also sold under the Colorsound and Park brand names with slight variations in circuit and sound....my favorite being the Sola-Sound. "3 knob Tone-Benders," as they became to be known, were very different from the more popular Fuzzface pedals in that they had more sustain and a lot of sweet midrange on-tap, which could give a thin Tele or Strat avery sax-like solo tone, especially with the "Tone" control turned full clockwise. The 'Bender tone control cuts treble and increases Bass & Mids as you turn it clockwise, panning between a large and small capacitor, which is the way different from most other pedal's Tone controls which simply cut treble as the knob is turned counter-clockwise. The magic of these "3 knobbers" is that they contain 3 germanium transistors...all of differing gains, and the secret is you have to know the proper gain each transistor needs to be in order to produce the best sound. I know, riot because of some schematic on the web (all wrong BTW) or"build your own" kit, but because I have owned and repaired 40 or more original "3 knobbers," and have almost 20 years experience with this circuit, knowing what makes them sound great and sustain long. The original Fulltone Soul-Benderî came out in 1995, it was inspired by this classic 3-knob design, and was produced up until around 2006 when I could no longer parse suitable transistors. Approximately 3107 units were sold during that period. Recently I have re-established a relationship with one of the last remaining germanium transistor-making companies, which has allowed me to re-issue this Fulltone fuzz-classic as the Soul-Benderî SB-2.The SB-2 is in some ways better than the old Soul-Benderî in that I am now having the transistors made-to-order just how I want them, and these wonderful skinny-tall TO-1 Germanium transistor (with atop hat brim) that have just the right characteristics, including the requisite low gain and low noise just like the vintage Sola-Sound pedals had. The Soul-Benderî improvs on the original 60's design by offering more available volume, a more usable Tone control range, True-Bypass switching with my proprietary "silent switching circuit," better power s |
