I just want to not doing well, has a good sounding Rogue was purchased for $ 99 when I started playing almost 25 years. In the first guitar (or spare for those with more experience), then this guitar amazing things.
Given that the laminated Sitka Spruce top, the tone is not as bright and clear, as the higher the cost of the guitar, but it sounds great considering the price.
I constantly read elsewhere that the effect of this guitar was quite high but $ 99, I was willing to risk in order to adjust the action. I was pleasantly surprised that the action was perfect out of the box.
Fishman Classic 4 electronics works just as well as the expected outcome, with a thin-like tone expected from the use of standard models of piezoelectric sensors. If you write a good Rogue with microphone in combination with the pickup, it will sound great.
Because I'm very bright but full sound, I replaced the dull sound of Martin's paper GHS White Bronze (WBM), which is consistent with the GHS "magnet is ideal for acoustic / electric applications ..." Finally, it sounds like a great Rogue maybe I have the standard plastic bridge pins replaced by a lot of contacts, D'Andrea brass. Brass pins him a little more and clearer sound to compensate for the fact that the laminate on top.
All Rogue section is remarkable, given the price of the guitar. The sound may not be ideal, but given that the Fishman electronics cost almost 100 itself, it is surprising that a document like this go for $ 99. You get what you pay for......
This is a pretty ordinary guitar...but even the price is ordinary so it breaks even i guess. let me put the cons first.
1. the guitar action is pretty high...i had to adjust the bridge to make it more playable.
2. i have a yamaha acoustic guitar and this guitar is pretty tough to play in comparision so not recommended for beginers.
3. if you plan to buy one be sure to change the strings as soon as you can.
pros:
1. pretty light guitar considering it has a fishman pickup built in.
2. sounds really good if played correctly.
3. body structure and fret board are very adorable.
