Many people each and every day decide that they want to take up the guitar, and why not? It's a very fun instrument to play. However, this involves buying a guitar and beginners don't always know what to look for. An electric guitar can be easier to learn than an acoustic, depending of what kind of music you'd like to play. You don't necessarily have to spend a lot of money in order to find one that plays nicely. Figure out what you can afford to spend and concentrate on looking at guitars in your price range.
