Nowadays we all feel a little bit worried about crime. You hear some awful stories about people being robbed or even being attacked in their own homes.
But what is the best way to protect your home from such attacks?
One way which is used constantly by intruders to get into a property is to get in through badly maintained windows and doors. When installing double glazing you need to ensure that the company that installed it have a FENSA certificate. This will ensure that your windows have been manufactured and installed to the best possible standard. It also allows you to look at installers who have recently been prosecuted so that you can be sure you are not using a dodgy company yourself.
